What each component means
| Component | Operational when |
|---|---|
| API | The Voxpanda app and its API respond to requests. |
| Database | The main database answers. Degraded when a check takes longer than 500 ms. |
| Publishing | Scheduled posts go out on time. Degraded when posts wait more than 10 minutes past their scheduled time, or when many posts failed in the last hour. |
| Inbox and replies | New comments and DMs are processed. Degraded when more than 500 messages are waiting. |
| AI writing | The AI models for captions, replies and message sorting are available. Degraded when some of them are not. |
Down means the component does not work. The overall state is the worst state of the five components. A failed post on one account does not change these states, because the cause is often on that account, such as a channel that needs to be connected again.
When a platform has a problem
This page covers Voxpanda only, not the platforms it posts to. When Instagram, TikTok or another platform has an outage, Voxpanda retries the publish without creating a second copy, and a problem on one platform does not stop the others. Retry rules are described on the post scheduler page.
Questions
How often does this page update?
Every 60 seconds while the page is open. The server checks each component at most once every 30 seconds.
Does this page show data from my account?
No. Each component shows one state for the whole service. No account, brand or post data is shown.
What does degraded mean?
The component works but slower or with errors. For publishing, it can mean some posts go out later than scheduled.
My post did not publish but the status is operational. What now?
Open the post in the Voxpanda app to see its error. A post can fail for reasons on one account, such as a channel that needs to be connected again.
